Mac users will be glad to hear that a good number of skill games are now available for download that have previously been available for PC users. Games such as backgammon, mahjong, Sudoku and crossword puzzles are now ready for players to enjoy on a Mac.

Hoyle Puzzle & Board Games 2009 can be purchased for a low price of $20 and players can enjoy several games. Those games include: Mahjong, anagrams, Sudoku, checkers, chess, Bang Board Games and over 1200 different cross word puzzles. This option is Mac compatible and can be added on to and has expansion capabilities.

Bgblitz Backgammon 2.6.2 can also be downloaded for free or purchased in other versions for backgammon player’s enjoyment on a Mac. The free version have been improved and can be enjoyed for free or players may choose to purchase the player version for $23 which added playing online, showing best moves, BGBlitz and much more. There is also a Professional Edition available for $46 which includes a rollout facility and a tutor that gives comments on game play.

All of the above skill games can be enjoyed by Mac users on a free limited basis or for a small purchase fee.
