The Holiday Classic Gin Rummy Tournament is about to begin and the Gin Rummy Association is making last minute preparations. The Great Southern Billiard Tour stopped in Jacksonville, North Carolina to hold a $1,500 added A/B amateur event on October 17th and 18th. The event took place at Fast Freddy’s Billiards and forty competitors showed up to participate. It was Larry Faulk who remained undefeated during the competition to earn the first place win after defeating Ray McGinn in the finals. (23/10)

Florida Backgammon Club Looking for New Members

Michael Shedroff, a resident of the Village of Country Club Hills is currently working to build the local Backgammon Club. The Chinook Winds Resort Casino in Lincoln City, Oregon hosted the Pacific Coast Classic on October 15th and ended on October 18th and sixty four players showed up to compete. Jasmin Ouschan was able to outlast the field and take down Xiaoting Pan to earn the title win. (20/10)

Alex Borg Wins Malta Billiards Event

Alex Borg of the Juventutis Domus club won his first snooker ranking tournament of the season recently when he participated in a Malta Billiards & Snooker Association event. The tournament took place this past Friday at the 147 Snooker Hall. Borg was able to beat Simon Zammit 6-4 in the final. (20/10)
