Mohammad Sajjad is a top snooker pro from his home country and just a few days ago he won his third ranking title in his career. Sajjad won 8-3 against Saqib Butt in the National Ranking Snooker Cup at Karachi Gymkhana to earn the title. (28/07)

Japanese Player Wins Monte Carlo World Championship
The Monte Carlo World Championship took place this past weekend pitting backgammon pros against each other to see who would reign supreme. After a tough battle between the reigning champion Lars Trabolt and Japan’s Masayuki “Mochy” Mochizuki, it was Mochy who would earn the title after winning the final match. (23/07)

Taylor Road Productions is the promoter of the Galveston World Classic. They will soon be announcing a deal for the United States distribution of televised programming for the upcoming event. The 6-Red World Grand Prix Snooker Championship began this past week in Bangkok and Pakistan’s Mohammad Sajjad and John Higgins opened the championship with the first match up. Sajjad prevailed and beat Higgins to move on in the tournament. (10/07)

This Fourth of July weekend fourteen women came to O’Brian’s Sports Bar and Grill in Evansville, Indiana to compete in the MALT’s Indiana State Women’s championship. The $1,000 added event was a WPBA qualifier for the 2009 WPBA U.S. Open and it was Dawn Fox who came away with the win. (07/07)
