Student Wins School Snooker Title, Now Moving Toward Nationals

Lalit Dahiya entered the Delhi Schools Snooker Tournament and did so well that he won the event and was picked to receive a special training session. Dahiya will be subject to a weeklong special training session with Subhash Agarwai, a national coach, in Mumbai next week. (30/06)

The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center in Bellingham held their first ever Compete for a Cause Backgammon tournament on May 30th to raise money for the center. Tainan Judge Let Go for Playing Mahjong

Tainan Branch Judge of the Taiwan High Prosecutors office, Hsu Hong-chi, has been let go from his judging duties for playing the game of mahjong. Hsu was let go because he chose to rule the former Tainan county Council speaker Chou Wu-liu innocent in a vote-buying lawsuit back in 2001. The problem was that Hsu and Chou played mahjong together.
