Trick Shot Exhibition to be performed by Nick Varner This Weekend
Billiards Enthusiasts will be able to see a true player work their craft this weekend as Nick Varner performs a Trick Shot Exhibition at Main Street Billiards in Mesa, Arizona. Varner is an eight time world champion and an inductee into the Billiards Congress of America’s Hall of Fame. The performance will take place on December 27th. (24/12)

Playstation to Offer New Mahjong Game for PSN this January
According to a recent blog by Playstation, TikGames is about to unveil a new mahjong game on the Playstation Network. The company has been working on a game called Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom for the PS3 and it will be available on the PSN in early January for just under ten dollars. (22/12)

On December 6th Side Pocket Cue Club and Grill in Marietta, Georgia played host to the J. Pechauer Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour stop. The event had a $1,000 added prize purse and Steve Moore fought his way through the competition to claim the first place prize. (12/12)

The event saw many players vying for several top titles of backgammon play. Top snooker players, Pankaj Advani and Manan Chandra, faced each other yet again at the National Billiards and Snooker Championship Final. Pankaj won the 2007 final while Chandra won the 2006 final, so after this match, one player will come out on top. (02/12)
Scott Simonetti Wins Tri-State Billiard Stop in Queens
Twenty eight players participated in the Tri-State Billiard tour stop in Queens this past weekend. The $500 added event took place on November 29th at the Break, Bar and Billiards in Astoria.
