888 See Rise in Profits Thanks to Backgammon Addition

It was recently announced by CryptoLogic Limited, that they are investing in Mahjong Time. The investment will benefit the developer and supplier of the software to make a move toward the market in Asia. Backgammon French Open and European Doubles Championships Set for October

The European Backgammon Tour has announced that the French Backgammon Open will take place beginning October 28th and continuing until November 2nd 2008. A popular snooker club in Essex, England is possibly about to be demolished. The club sits on the top level of an indoor market called Rayleigh Lanes. The owners of Rayleigh Lanes Indoor Market want to turn the unit into twelve, two bedroom flats. Mark Francois, the Rayleigh Tory MP, has spoke to councilors and asked them to reject the plan to destroy the snooker club, Rayleigh Lanes. (21/08)

World Series of Mahjong Coming Next Month

The Wynn Macau resort in Macau will be the host of this year’s World Series of Mahjong event. This will be the second consecutive year the event has taken place. The tournament will begin on September 19th and continue until the 21st. The Royal London Watches Grand Prix has decided to change things up a bit during this year’s tournament. For the first time, this year’s snooker tournament will have a random drawing.
